Like everyone else I use the internet as a main inspiration source for planning my travels. There’s so much inspiring content out there and the hours can easily pass by when doing a proper travel research.

Here I share my go-to sites for inspiration and travel tips when preparing for an upcoming adventure or simply when the mood calls for day dreaming:

The Every Girl
The Every Girl is a huge online platform for girls (!) with interesting articles about everything from career to fashion and living. The travel section is very inspiring with a nice girl-ish lay out and easy navigation. I found the inspiration for our upcoming summer road trip in Southern France here (from this article to be exact). We knew we wanted to visit the French Riviera, but didn’t know where. After reading this article and after a bit more research we decided that Cassis should be the first stop there. A full program of our summer road trip will soon be online…

Condé Nast Traveler
This is a classic. Condé Nast Traveler is probably the most popular travel magazine in the world and the website might be it as well. They have tons of high quality content and reporters all over the world.

We used their recommendations for Havana when we visited Cuba in February. And after booking the flights and then discovering this article with the Top 10 Destinations to watch in 2016, where Cuba was number one, we knew we had made the right choice of destination.

Fathom
I got to know Fathom from their magnificent Instagram account where they often have take-overs from travellers from around the world. The Instgram is extremely inspiring and so is the hashtag #travelwithfathom, where you’ll find travellers from around the world sharing their travel moments.

The website contains articles of everything related to travel; gadgets, guides, tips and much more. I can spend hours surfing around the site and being inspired for my own adventures.

The Road Les Traveled
Lesley Murphy is one of the world’s most successful travel bloggers. She has the site The Road Les Traveled (love the name!) and specialises in luxury and adventure travel. She has been almost everywhere and writes useful content on her site. What I like the most, besides of the content of course, is that she always looks so happy! Always smiling! Such an inspiration.

World of Wanderlust
World of Wanderslust is yet another very successful travel blog. Brooke Saward is the girl behind WOW, but has grown the site to far, that she now has a whole team behind her. The site offers guides, a book club, tips on how to save money when travelling, blogging tips, photo editing tips and much more. The site is very inspiring with a lot of great pictures.
